'10. Maine!
2.) Maine/New York/New Hampshire/Massachusettes!
On July 1st, my dad and I took a plane out to Boston, Massachusettes to visit some old friends that currently live in Maine. When we got to the airport they picked us up! Since all the states on the east coast are so close together, it only took about an hour to an hour and a half to get from Boston to Maine. I swear there is a Dunkin Donughts every 2 buildings. And for some reason there are like NONE in Minnesota. It was soo much fun! We went on the boat, went to small towns, went shopping, got ice cream, went to the ocean and so much more! I can't wait to see them again!(:
Summer List '10. Valley Fair.
1.) Valley Fair!
I've gone to Valley Fair more than once this summer and its fan-frickin-tastic! But there is this one particular time I want to share with you(: So. I went to Valley Fair with Charlie, Andrew, and Karli. Karli tried to use her friend's season pass to get in for free at Valley Fair, but she didn't know it was against the law. She also didn't know that when the people at the checking gate scanned the card, that a picture of the owner of the card came up on a computer screen. When they saw it wasn't her they told her to go to guest services. But knowing that she would get caught if she went, she decided to go buy a ticket instead. We got in and went on about 3 rides, security gaurds found us and brought us to the main security office. They brought Karli into the office. Meanwhile, Charlie, Andrew and I had to wait outside. After they were done talking to her, she came out and told us the consequences for her trying to get in for free. 1.) She had to leave right away without a ticket refund. and 2.) She couldn't come back for a year. Yeah we went in July. Lets just say we went on July 25th. So she can't go back until July 26th of NEXT YEAR. Gayness. and 3.) Her friend's pass was canceled. Ruh Roh. Added some fun to my summer(:

On the Other Hand...
Just for the record, I love love LOVE it when people ask me for advice or tell me about their problems.
But I didn't really realize until now, how much a guy can actually fall in love and how attached they can get...whether or not they show it all the time. Now let me make a point here. I'm totally not saying that I side with guys whenever there is a problem in a relationship, but I do think that the good guys deserve a break from us girls and our awesomeness. You know what I'm talking about!? The very few nice, good looking, non gay guys we have left deserve the best as do the very nice, good looking girls like you! If you know your boyfriend is sweeter than ever, then don't be too clingy if he seems annoyed every now and again. And if he doesn't text you or call you back for a while then don't freak. Just ask him why he didn't text or call, he probably has a pretty good reason! If he doesn't then he's just plain stupid haha.
I'm not trying to sound hypocritical in any of these posts if I do, I'm just trying to get at these problems from all points of view and give everybody in the issue some credit! And jeez. I'm tired. Night(: LLL. ♥

Love Him::or::Miss Him?
But anyway, her and this guy had a pretty good relationship. But after a while, my friend's feelings started to fade for this guy. Things changed and feelings for other people grew. They kinda just grew apart. Ever been here before? Are you here now? If so, keep on reading. After they're break up, they swore that they would still be friends. Which, I'm sure everyone would wish for right? I mean, just because you don't work out as a couple doesn't mean that it should ruin your friendship as well. You might not be the friends you once were, but you could start a whole new friendship. Now this guy, who promised that they would still be friends and that they would still talk, started taking some advice from his friends. And pshh. Girls know that guys can be total jerks when it comes to their friends. Am I right? He started treating her like nothing. Actually, he pretended she was nothing. He ignored her calls and messages for a bit. They ran into eachother once and instead of listening to what she had to say, he said he had too much to do and left. Now we all want what we can't have. So, naturally, she started to fall for him all over again. I'm pretty sure it started with how much she missed him. Not just as a boyfriend, but as a friend. They got to talking a little bit more and finally worked out a bunch of things. My friend [the girl] decided to go to this guys best friend. To get a little bit of leverage to help her out and to keep him from telling this guy to do the wrong thing. Now this all may sound confusing, but if your still reading it than it can't be too bad ;) They hung out more and talked a lot. You know where they are now? DATING. Yep. You did just read that. They're back together and hopefully for a while.
Now sometimes, giving in to the cruelty of the guys 'strategy' isn't always the best thing to do. You should take some time to think over it. Make sure that you do in fact actually have feelings for this guy and you don't just miss him or get jealous of something that he does. Because if you go back out for the wrong reasons, you're going to repeat everything all over again and someone is just going to get hurt twice as bad, and it'll probably be you! So stay strong, keep your chin up, and know there's always hope! You'll find that perfect fella someday. ♥ LLL.

Freshman Soccer Tryouts! Part 2.
After that there were more poles lined up. If your read the other post "Freshman Soccer Tryouts! Part 1." Then you know what I am talking about. If you didn't, then you will know shortly. Actually. No. If you didn't read the first one then go read it!!! But there were two poles that made a gate, and three poles lined up infront of you, [See diagram below.] You started with the ball inbetween the two poles, dribbled around the red one, came back, dribbled around one of the outside poles, went up and dribbled around the blue pole, came back, dribbled around one of the outside poles, went up and dribbled around the last purple pole, and then ran your way through the gate. Not as easy as it looks okay! Your timed so you have to make your touches as short as possible. I got 23 seconds.
I know that picture up there ↑↑↑↑↑ looks kinda confusing but it's seriously the best I can do without showing you in person. If you look at the picture WHILE reading the description it makes things a lot easier!
The next test I had to do was a quick one. You were infront of a wall..about 3 yards between you in the wall. You had about a 3 yard width as well. You had to kick the ball at the wall, have it come back, kick it again, have it come back, kick it again, etc. You had to see how many times you could do this within a minute. But you couldnt let the ball go out for the 3 x 3 yard area that you were given. There was also a line that you couldn't pass when kicking the ball. If either of these things happened, then that kick didnt count. I got like 18. Wasn't so great.
The VERY LAST TEST OF THE DAY was juggling the ball. Juggling is my worst enemy. I can't juggle to save my life. You had to start with the ball on the ground, flick it up with your foot, and see how many juggles you could get by just using your feet. yyeaahhh. rriighhtt. I got like 8. haha.
Now. I'm not going to do posts for every day we had tryouts because thats a waste. All we did on Tuesday was 11 v. 11. If you don't play soccer and you don't know what that is..then. well. We were just scrimmaging eachother. 11 players vs. 11 players. We did 11 v. 11 on Wednesday as well. At the end of Wednesday's afternoon session, we were told who was cut and who made the team! Talk about nerve wrecking!! The coach didn't say the names of people who were cut, he just read the list of the names who had made the team. About 12 names had gone by and not one of them were mine. I started thinking 'I guess I just wasn't good enough to make the team.' Then. MY NAME WAS CALLED!!! My name was like the 17th name to be called. I was soooo happy!!! :D :D :D :D :D
On Thursday, we, the Freshman team, got to scrimmage the Sophomores. That was a lot of fun!! There was no afternoon practice on Thursday. On Friday [Yesterday] we had our first team practice at the Highschool! Now, I know that we get uniforms and stuff on Monday, we have practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, our first game on Thursday, another practice on Friday, and a game on Saturday!! I'm so excited!!
Making the team, was the first step of being a higschooler for me(:
Freshman Soccer Tryouts! Part 1.
Alright! So this blog has pretty much been sitting here on the internet for over a month with NO POSTS! But I was waiting for it to get closer to school time!
It's my, and a whole lot of other people's, freshman year!! The most highschool related thing that I've done so far was tryout for the freshman soccer team. For tryouts, there a two sessions daily for a week. So from last Monday to yesterday, [Friday], I had to be to oakwood by 8:00 a.m. and got to leave around 10:00 a.m. Then you had to come back to the same place at 1:00 p.m. and stay there until 3:00 p.m.
The first day of tryouts, they gave you a number that went alphabetically. I was #80. After that, the Freshman had to pair up with a Senior for running a bit less than 2 miles. Most of the Seniors ran first and an assistant coach timed them while we [the freshman ] told our partner how many laps they had left. **If you have ever been to Oakwood, then you have seen the soccer fields. We had to run around those 6 and a half times. Just so you get an idea of how far it actually was. ** After the Seniors had finished up, it was our turn! And let me tell ya, I'm NOT...i repeat NOT...a long distance runner. So this was probably the most brutalizing part out of all the tryout testing. I forgot what my time was but it was over 12 minutes but under 13 minutes. Somewhere in that general area. It was awful.
The rest of tryouts for the morning was for agility. One test we had to do was be timed while running around these poles. [Check diagram below]. You start at the first purple pole and sprint to the next. From that you side shuffle to the next. Then you back pedal to the next, sprint back the previous one, back pedal to the same one, then side shuffle to the last purple pole. You then weave your way through the blue poles, run through the first white gate, and out the last.
