Drawer's Block.

Guys, I'm having drawer's block. I can't think of anything creative to draw anymore and it's killing me. I guess I only draw when I have strong emotions about something. Whether they be anger, sadness, happiness, a love type of feeling, or an over all inspired feeling. But lately I've just been kind of neutral. The strong emotions that I need oh so dearly right now aren't coming to me in anyway. I guess I'll just have to wait until high school to feel anything.

'10. Sleepovers!

3.) Sleepovers!

On the left is me and my best friend Victoria [[Vikko.]] On the right is me and my Sister [not literally. just really good friends] Lily. "Photo shoots" are just the best thing to do with friends! Especially when sleepovers follow(: The lastest I've stayed up this summer was like 6. Then I fell asleep for like 2 hours. Then I woke up again. This was when my friend Lily [Photo on the right] snuck out and came over to my house. She's not allowed to have sleepovers with me or any other of her american friends [She's Ukrainian] but she lives pretty close. She even did the movie thing where she stuffed pillows under her blanket to make it look like she was there when she wasn't! (: We stayed up watching videos on Hulu. Now my friend Vikko [Photo on the left] practically lives with me. She's over ALL THE TIME. And i love it(: We get along so well. So well in fact, we had a double sleepover. Yeah we spent a full 48 hours together at my house! Awesome times(: If you have a really close friend that you never fight with then I suggest this, your never bored(:

'10. Maine!

[Cont.]

2.) Maine/New York/New Hampshire/Massachusettes!

On July 1st, my dad and I took a plane out to Boston, Massachusettes to visit some old friends that currently live in Maine. When we got to the airport they picked us up! Since all the states on the east coast are so close together, it only took about an hour to an hour and a half to get from Boston to Maine. I swear there is a Dunkin Donughts every 2 buildings. And for some reason there are like NONE in Minnesota. It was soo much fun! We went on the boat, went to small towns, went shopping, got ice cream, went to the ocean and so much more! I can't wait to see them again!(:

Summer List '10. Valley Fair.

I thought that I would take some time today to review my summer of 2010. Now it was FOR SURE not what I expected AT ALL. Just a little less than a month before school was about to get out, I expected to spend summer with a guy. Yeeaahhh that didn't turn out. So. It was a friendly summer(: And I literally mean friendly! All friends. Since I think you would get bored reading about 90 different days, half of which were sleeping, I'll just say my highlights of summer!
1.) Valley Fair!

I've gone to Valley Fair more than once this summer and its fan-frickin-tastic! But there is this one particular time I want to share with you(: So. I went to Valley Fair with Charlie, Andrew, and Karli. Karli tried to use her friend's season pass to get in for free at Valley Fair, but she didn't know it was against the law. She also didn't know that when the people at the checking gate scanned the card, that a picture of the owner of the card came up on a computer screen. When they saw it wasn't her they told her to go to guest services. But knowing that she would get caught if she went, she decided to go buy a ticket instead. We got in and went on about 3 rides, security gaurds found us and brought us to the main security office. They brought Karli into the office. Meanwhile, Charlie, Andrew and I had to wait outside. After they were done talking to her, she came out and told us the consequences for her trying to get in for free. 1.) She had to leave right away without a ticket refund. and 2.) She couldn't come back for a year. Yeah we went in July. Lets just say we went on July 25th. So she can't go back until July 26th of NEXT YEAR. Gayness. and 3.) Her friend's pass was canceled. Ruh Roh. Added some fun to my summer(:

Artsy Fartsy

What do you think of this? You can formspring me your thoughts! This is one out of 3 circles that I've drawn. This was the first finished. I ran out of ink in the pen I was using so I couldn't finish the other two. But once I do I will for sure post them! As long as you like this one of course. Then I'll do a final picture of the whole page with all three of them. LLL♥

In It to Win It

OH YEAH. OHHHHH YEAHHHHH. Wayzata won! We won! Our very first Freshman game and we won! I say that's a rather large accomplishment...for me anyway(: The first half of the game we just dominated. The turnout of the game was 6-0 ! My teammates just kept rippin in the goals like nothing! The downfall of the game? I think I swallowed about 3 gnats. If you don't know what those are..they're those little black bugs that fly around your head when you're walking in the grass. Yeah. ANNOYING. They flew down your throat and everything. Yuck. I also just got nailed in the face with the ball. Slightly bruised under my eye but I'll be fine. Just happy we won!!(:

First Game

I have my first soccer game as a Freshman tomorrow!! I'm soo excited!! Hey you, yeah, you. You should come and support me!! Unless, of course, your some creepy stalker, pedophile, rapist, or etc. Then please don't come. Thanks!! (: What's even better is that we have a game in Duluth on September 4th! We're taking a coach bus up there in the morning. It's about a two and a half hour bus ride. So in the morning, two and a half hours on bus, play a game, then two and a half hours back on a bus. EXCITING. no. And for those of you who don't know where Duluth is, and went to Wolf Ridge, it's close to there!! Yeah(: Otherwise you might want to buy a map of Minnesota. Could come in handy someday!
Hey Hey! What do you think of my blog? Do you like the peachyness, or not like it? I think the header is pretty cool..what do you think? Do you like my fishies? Do you like what I write? If you could tell me than that would fantastic!! Thank youu(:

On the Other Hand...

I realized something tonight. That with every girls confused mind about a relationship, there's a guy at the other end who is feeling the same way. [[Well, in good relationships anyway.]] But I talked to one of those guys tonight. We sat down and he was telling me about his current relationship.

Just for the record, I love love LOVE it when people ask me for advice or tell me about their problems.

But I didn't really realize until now, how much a guy can actually fall in love and how attached they can get...whether or not they show it all the time. Now let me make a point here. I'm totally not saying that I side with guys whenever there is a problem in a relationship, but I do think that the good guys deserve a break from us girls and our awesomeness. You know what I'm talking about!? The very few nice, good looking, non gay guys we have left deserve the best as do the very nice, good looking girls like you! If you know your boyfriend is sweeter than ever, then don't be too clingy if he seems annoyed every now and again. And if he doesn't text you or call you back for a while then don't freak. Just ask him why he didn't text or call, he probably has a pretty good reason! If he doesn't then he's just plain stupid haha.

I'm not trying to sound hypocritical in any of these posts if I do, I'm just trying to get at these problems from all points of view and give everybody in the issue some credit! And jeez. I'm tired. Night(: LLL. ♥

Love Him::or::Miss Him?

My friend has been going through a rough patch in her relationship with a certain guy. And when I say 'relationship', I mean boyfriend/girlfriend...as well as just friends. I'm not going to be saying any names because this sort of thing is private. The only people who know what I'm talking about are the only ones that should know anyway.
But anyway, her and this guy had a pretty good relationship. But after a while, my friend's feelings started to fade for this guy. Things changed and feelings for other people grew. They kinda just grew apart. Ever been here before? Are you here now? If so, keep on reading. After they're break up, they swore that they would still be friends. Which, I'm sure everyone would wish for right? I mean, just because you don't work out as a couple doesn't mean that it should ruin your friendship as well. You might not be the friends you once were, but you could start a whole new friendship. Now this guy, who promised that they would still be friends and that they would still talk, started taking some advice from his friends. And pshh. Girls know that guys can be total jerks when it comes to their friends. Am I right? He started treating her like nothing. Actually, he pretended she was nothing. He ignored her calls and messages for a bit. They ran into eachother once and instead of listening to what she had to say, he said he had too much to do and left. Now we all want what we can't have. So, naturally, she started to fall for him all over again. I'm pretty sure it started with how much she missed him. Not just as a boyfriend, but as a friend. They got to talking a little bit more and finally worked out a bunch of things. My friend [the girl] decided to go to this guys best friend. To get a little bit of leverage to help her out and to keep him from telling this guy to do the wrong thing. Now this all may sound confusing, but if your still reading it than it can't be too bad ;) They hung out more and talked a lot. You know where they are now? DATING. Yep. You did just read that. They're back together and hopefully for a while.
Now sometimes, giving in to the cruelty of the guys 'strategy' isn't always the best thing to do. You should take some time to think over it. Make sure that you do in fact actually have feelings for this guy and you don't just miss him or get jealous of something that he does. Because if you go back out for the wrong reasons, you're going to repeat everything all over again and someone is just going to get hurt twice as bad, and it'll probably be you! So stay strong, keep your chin up, and know there's always hope! You'll find that perfect fella someday. ♥ LLL.

--Beautiful Things Come in Small Packages--

I've been wanting to learn how to draw a rose for some time now. So last night I decided, 'Why the heck not!' It was like 1:00 a.m. and I couldn't get to sleep so I chose to practice drawing. After ripping out a couple pages in my sketch book and making a ton of eraser marks, I got what I was looking for! Since I hate to just have drawings like these sit around in my sketch book, I give them to friends and family. This one is going to my close friend Marissa! If anyone has any suggestions on what I should try to draw or comments on this then Formspring it to me!
Thanks(:

Freshman Soccer Tryouts! Part 2.

Well back for more I see. Still exhuasted from the earlier tryouts...I had to go back to Oakwood for more testing. The first thing I did was long balls. OKAY. I know what most of you a probably thinking. and all I have to say is, GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER!! teehee(: But seriously that's what they're called! You have 5 soccer balls lined up in front of you and then you see how far you can kick it. There are sections lined up so the person recording the length of your kick can see how far it goes on it's first bounce. That test...I got mad at myself for. I could've done sooo much better. But for some reason I'm always worse when I'm trying out.

After that there were more poles lined up. If your read the other post "Freshman Soccer Tryouts! Part 1." Then you know what I am talking about. If you didn't, then you will know shortly. Actually. No. If you didn't read the first one then go read it!!! But there were two poles that made a gate, and three poles lined up infront of you, [See diagram below.] You started with the ball inbetween the two poles, dribbled around the red one, came back, dribbled around one of the outside poles, went up and dribbled around the blue pole, came back, dribbled around one of the outside poles, went up and dribbled around the last purple pole, and then ran your way through the gate. Not as easy as it looks okay! Your timed so you have to make your touches as short as possible. I got 23 seconds.

I know that picture up there ↑↑↑↑↑ looks kinda confusing but it's seriously the best I can do without showing you in person. If you look at the picture WHILE reading the description it makes things a lot easier!

The next test I had to do was a quick one. You were infront of a wall..about 3 yards between you in the wall. You had about a 3 yard width as well. You had to kick the ball at the wall, have it come back, kick it again, have it come back, kick it again, etc. You had to see how many times you could do this within a minute. But you couldnt let the ball go out for the 3 x 3 yard area that you were given. There was also a line that you couldn't pass when kicking the ball. If either of these things happened, then that kick didnt count. I got like 18. Wasn't so great.

The VERY LAST TEST OF THE DAY was juggling the ball. Juggling is my worst enemy. I can't juggle to save my life. You had to start with the ball on the ground, flick it up with your foot, and see how many juggles you could get by just using your feet. yyeaahhh. rriighhtt. I got like 8. haha.

Now. I'm not going to do posts for every day we had tryouts because thats a waste. All we did on Tuesday was 11 v. 11. If you don't play soccer and you don't know what that is..then. well. We were just scrimmaging eachother. 11 players vs. 11 players. We did 11 v. 11 on Wednesday as well. At the end of Wednesday's afternoon session, we were told who was cut and who made the team! Talk about nerve wrecking!! The coach didn't say the names of people who were cut, he just read the list of the names who had made the team. About 12 names had gone by and not one of them were mine. I started thinking 'I guess I just wasn't good enough to make the team.' Then. MY NAME WAS CALLED!!! My name was like the 17th name to be called. I was soooo happy!!! :D :D :D :D :D

On Thursday, we, the Freshman team, got to scrimmage the Sophomores. That was a lot of fun!! There was no afternoon practice on Thursday. On Friday [Yesterday] we had our first team practice at the Highschool! Now, I know that we get uniforms and stuff on Monday, we have practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, our first game on Thursday, another practice on Friday, and a game on Saturday!! I'm so excited!!

Making the team, was the first step of being a higschooler for me(:

Freshman Soccer Tryouts! Part 1.

Alright! So this blog has pretty much been sitting here on the internet for over a month with NO POSTS! But I was waiting for it to get closer to school time!
It's my, and a whole lot of other people's, freshman year!! The most highschool related thing that I've done so far was tryout for the freshman soccer team. For tryouts, there a two sessions daily for a week. So from last Monday to yesterday, [Friday], I had to be to oakwood by 8:00 a.m. and got to leave around 10:00 a.m. Then you had to come back to the same place at 1:00 p.m. and stay there until 3:00 p.m.

The first day of tryouts, they gave you a number that went alphabetically. I was #80. After that, the Freshman had to pair up with a Senior for running a bit less than 2 miles. Most of the Seniors ran first and an assistant coach timed them while we [the freshman ] told our partner how many laps they had left. **If you have ever been to Oakwood, then you have seen the soccer fields. We had to run around those 6 and a half times. Just so you get an idea of how far it actually was. ** After the Seniors had finished up, it was our turn! And let me tell ya, I'm NOT...i repeat NOT...a long distance runner. So this was probably the most brutalizing part out of all the tryout testing. I forgot what my time was but it was over 12 minutes but under 13 minutes. Somewhere in that general area. It was awful.

The rest of tryouts for the morning was for agility. One test we had to do was be timed while running around these poles. [Check diagram below]. You start at the first purple pole and sprint to the next. From that you side shuffle to the next. Then you back pedal to the next, sprint back the previous one, back pedal to the same one, then side shuffle to the last purple pole. You then weave your way through the blue poles, run through the first white gate, and out the last.

[[Pretty cool picture huh?(: ]]
Another test that we had to do after finishing that was the basic agility test that you should have taken in middle school for gym class! Remember? The one where you had to run down, grab a block, run back, drop it, run grab the last block and sprint over the finish line? Well if you don't remember then that sucks because I didn't make a drawing for that one! Sorry! But if you do remember...then we had to do that same test but with 3 block things instead of 2. mhm(:
Other tests after this one were more speed than agility. There were cones set up 20 yards from eachother. You had to sit down at the first cone and the timer was at the last cone. To start, you had to sit with your legs straight out infront of you with your heels on the starting line and your hands on top of your head. The timer started whenever you did. All you had to do was get up and sprint to the finish line! I got.. like 4.3 seconds.
The last test you had to do for the morning session was sprint a 50 yard. The only rule for that was that you had to start standing up instead of getting low like in a regular track race. I got 6.01 seconds.

Finally done for the morning!! ... until 1:00 p.m.
